The following selection of watercolours and drawings stem from a very personal resonance I have with Mother Nature and in particular ornithology. During the early throws of the Covid pandemic I would take daily strolls with the dog and on occassions come across some unfortunate bird that had been struck by a passing car in our rural village. Rather than simply toss the poor thing to the side I set about recording them at life size in my favoured medium of watercolour.
